“Three Sisters” Rock Formation
A striking group of rocks situated at around 800–825 m above sea level. This site is popular for short walks from Stary Gierałtów and Goszów. A cycling trail also runs below the rocks.
Underground Tourist Route – Uranium Mine in Kletno
Located near the Bear Cave, this former post-war uranium mine is now open to visitors. Guided tours last about 45 minutes.
During the tour, you can explore parts of the old workings, mining tools, and minerals (including fluorite and quartz), while learning about uranium extraction conducted between 1948–1953.
The route is safe and well-lit, but bring warm clothing – the interior maintains a constant temperature of about 7°C.
Śnieżnik (1,425 m / 4,675 ft)
The highest peak in this part of the Sudetes, offering panoramic views of the Karkonosze, Jeseníky, and Kłodzko Valley. A modern observation tower, built in 2022, crowns the summit.
Stara Morawa Reservoir
This scenic reservoir offers walking and cycling trails, as well as a recreational area with a paddling pool, beach, and water attractions. For the active, there are kayaks, pedal boats, volleyball and basketball courts, and for those seeking relaxation, shaded areas or a pier with a viewing tower.
Bear Cave / Jaskinia Niedźwiedzia (Kletno)
The largest cave in the Sudetes, featuring stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Guided tours are available, with prior reservation required.
Czarna Góra Resort
One of Poland’s largest and most unique ski resorts, with 20 slopes, plus a Bike Park featuring 19 trails.
Miedzygórze
A charming alpine-style village with historic architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. An excellent base for mountain excursions.
Wilczki Waterfall
The highest waterfall in the Eastern Sudetes (22 m), set in a picturesque gorge with a viewpoint. Located in Międzygórze.
