The Stronie Śląskie commune, located in the picturesque Eastern Sudetes, offers diverse hiking trails leading through the Śnieżnik Massif, the Bialskie Mountains, and the Golden Mountains. These trails are perfect for both beginners and experienced hikers, with routes ranging from short family walks to more demanding treks such as the trail to Śnieżnik.
The trails are well-marked – local routes (numbers 1–4) and PTTK trails (color-coded). Some can be divided into shorter sections, making them easy to adapt to your fitness level and available time.
Municipal Trails
Around Stronie Śląskie
Length: 7.3 km
Walking time: approx. 2 hours
Description: A loop trail through Stronie Śląskie, Sowią Kopa, and Goszów. A pleasant walking route with beautiful views of Śnieżnik, especially near the rock formations at Sowie Stopnie.
To Sedlo Peklo – towards the Nýznerov Waterfalls
Length: 2.5 km (to Sedlo Peklo) + 3 km (to the Nýznerov Waterfalls)
Walking time: approx. 1.5 hours (to Sedlo Peklo) + approx. 1 hour (to the waterfalls)
Description: The trail starts at the church in Bielice, leads through the Barani Gorge to the Sedlo Peklo pass, and then follows Czech trails (blue and green) to the Nýznerov Waterfalls.
Through the Janówka Valley
Length: 10.3 km
Walking time: 3–3.5 hours
Description: A loop from Sienna via the Stronie Śląskie village and Janowa Góra. A charming route with both natural and cultural highlights.
Three Valleys
Length: 7.3 km
Walking time: approx. 2 hours
Description: A leisurely route along convenient paths, offering beautiful views of Stronie Śląskie and the surrounding mountains. Also friendly for cyclists.
Hiking Trails – Stronie Śląskie Municipality
Yellow Trail: Stronie Śląskie – Śnieżnik
Length: 25 km
Duration: approx. 7–8 hours
Description: A long trail through the Bialskie Mountains and the Śnieżnik Massif, leading to Bear Cave and up to Śnieżnik. The route can be shortened by starting in Kletno.
Green Trail: Stronie Śląskie – Międzygórze
Length: 28 km
